How far is it true that the story "A Leaf In The Storm" shows the freedom for all citizens of India ? 

Ans. : " A Leaf In The Storm " by Lalithambika Antharjanam blurts out unsympathetic as well as reckless persecution of women in particular during the aftermath of partition . Though India and Pakistan won freedom in all respects, the wretchedness  became more and more intensive . As for example from the text , Jyoti , for being a Sikh , had to meet several agonies such as displacement , abduction , molestation , rape , etc . Likewise , there were so many people like Jyoti , and all of them underwent physical and mental torture and violence , which was not only very severe but also very intolerable . Actually , after the official partition , the people of both countries debuted in the game of assassinating people . It was the most awful as well as the nastiest time of the people of their respective countries . This tremendous chaos of mass was not mitigated , and remained continuing . It is true that India and Pakistan got freedom ; nevertheless , citizens could not free themselves from the depressive range . Still , millions of people again began to suffer from identity crises in spite of being harmless and innocent .
